Sports Marketing is one of the most competitive industries in today's business environment. Athletes, sports organizations, and broadcast and publicity executives require an in-depth knowledge of sports-related media marketing. Field Studies Center’s Sports Marketing programs provide participants with a unique opportunity to experience this industry first hand. Meet with marketing executives, attend major sporting events, and attend seminars designed to introduce your group to the inner-workings of this fast paced and exciting industry.

Each Field Studies Center educational travel program is carefully planned to meet the instructor's objectives, and the school's requirements for course credit, where necessary.

4 Day/3 Night Sample Itinerary

Inclusions:
  • Orientation Session- Spend time getting familiar with New York City. Review the best options for transportation and inexpensive places to eat. We'll also review the itinerary and answer questions.
  • Tour Guide- A Field Studies guide will accompany you for all included daytime activities.
  • Industry Seminars- Spend time in a private session with executives from each of the following: a sports marketing firm (representing a major league sports team), a prominent sportswear company, a major sports company, and a major sports publication.
  • On Location- Visit the only NBA store in the world!
  • Site Tour- Go behind-the-scene at the world-renowned Madison Square Garden or Yankee Stadium.
  • Attendance at a Broadway Performance- Take your seat at a Broadway musical, comedy, play, or Off Broadway show and enjoy the best performance the city has to offer.
  • Hotel Accommodations- Stay three nights in a centrally located hotel in the city. Baggage handling upon hotel arrival and departure is included.
