Attend a private dance class at one of New York City's major dance schools. Receive private lessons on choreography and dance from a Broadway show performer. Experience the thrill and excitement of the New York dance scene and understand firsthand why this city is the center of the dance world.

Each Field Studies Center educational travel program is carefully planned to meet the instructor's objectives, and the school's requirements for course credit, where necessary.

4 Day/3 Night Sample Itinerary

• Orientation Session- Spend time getting familiar with New York City. Review the best options for transportation and inexpensive places to eat. We'll also review the itinerary and answer questions.
• Tour Guide- A Field Studies guide will accompany you for all included daytime activities.
• Dance Class- Your students will be challenged and inspired as they participate in a private lesson at a major dance school.
• Choreography Workshop- Students will spend time working with a private instructor.
• Site Tours- Take part in guided tours of Radio City Music Hall and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, as you learn about the history and prestige of these two famous sites.
• Attendance at a Professional Performance- Take your seat at a Broadway musical or the New York City Ballet, and enjoy the best performance the city has to offer.
• Hotel Accommodations- Stay three nights in a centrally located hotel in the city. Baggage handling upon hotel arrival and departure is included.
